1. How does weight adjustment work on the QUAD dumbbells?

Changing the weight is quick and simple: just loosen the knurled screw by about 2 cm, then add or remove as many plates as you like. That lets you adjust the weight in under 10 seconds. Unlike classic dumbbells, the dumbbell doesn’t need to be taken apart completely.

2. What stops the plates from rattling or falling out?

The plates lock into each other via two safety pins, similar to a tongue-and-groove system. This design not only prevents annoying rattling but also keeps plates from slipping out during your workout, giving you a secure, stable feel comparable to traditional dumbbells.

3. What weight increments can I set?

Each dumbbell in the 36 kg QUAD version consists of a 4 kg handle, two 1 kg screws, two 1 kg plates and fourteen 2 kg plates (plate size 17.5 x 17.5 cm). That gives you weight adjustment in 2 kg steps from 4 kg to 36 kg.

4. What is the handle like?

The handle is 32 mm in diameter and 17.3 cm long. It’s made of steel with diamond knurling for a secure hold. The black powder coating gives the handles a modern look and keeps the dumbbells sitting stable and comfortable in your hand at all times.

5. Can I use the dumbbells without a special stand?

Yes. The dumbbells can be safely stored and used on any flat surface, no special cradle required. We do offer a matching storage rack as an option. All components are made of metal, which means high quality and a long service life.
