Still have questions?
1. What makes the L1 dumbbell bar so tough and durable?
Our L1 dumbbell bar is made from alloy steel, one of the highest-grade forms of metal. On top of that, it's finished with a durable chrome layer that protects it against scratches and wear. Thanks to this rugged construction, the bar stands up to heavy loads without permanently deforming.
2. How does it keep training safe and comfortable?
The dumbbell bar runs on high-quality ball bearings that let the weight plates rotate smoothly and under control. That takes the strain off your wrists and keeps your form clean. The bearings are also sealed against dust, which means a long service life without frequent cleaning. A 25 mm grip diameter and medium knurling give you an excellent, non-slip hold.
3. What diameter are the sleeves, and which weight plates fit?
The sleeves are 50 mm in diameter, so you can use any standard weight plates with a matching center hole. The sleeves are 10 cm long and can be fully loaded even at the heaviest weights.
4. What sets the Iron Plates cast-iron weight plates apart?
Our Iron Plates are exceptionally high in quality because they're made from Class 30 ductile cast iron. This material is also used in the automotive industry and offers high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Their slim profile makes them ideal for loading plenty of weight onto the bar, and the rounded edges make sure they don't dig uncomfortably into your skin. The clean black design with silver lettering and weight markings in kilograms and pounds is timeless and practical.
5. Is the bar and Iron Plates set a good alternative to a dumbbell set?
Yes, an excellent one. The L1 dumbbell bar combined with the Iron Plates is an affordable, space-saving alternative to a complete dumbbell set. You can set any training weight you like quickly and easily, which gives you the flexibility of a whole set while taking up far less room.
