Still have questions?
1. What are the main advantages of hex dumbbells?
The biggest advantage is the hexagonal shape, which keeps the dumbbells from rolling away when you set them down on the floor. That means more safety and stability, especially for floor-based exercises like renegade rows, push-ups or planks. The flat sides also make it easier to put the dumbbells down between sets. The hex dumbbells are available in pairs or as a set.
2. What kind of grip do the dumbbells have?
The handle has medium-sharp knurling for a firm, secure grip during training.
3. How are the weights marked on the dumbbells?
The weight is permanently engraved into each dumbbell head, so it's clearly visible and easy to read—you'll find the right weight in no time.
4. Can I use the hex dumbbells in an outdoor gym?
Yes, the ATLETICA hex dumbbells can be used in an outdoor gym too. Their rugged construction and durable coating stand up to impacts and daily outdoor use, and the hard-chrome coating on the handles prevents rust. To maximize their lifespan, store them dry after training and protect them from prolonged exposure to rain or direct sunlight.
5. Can I buy the dumbbells in sets that aren't offered on the website?
Yes, just get in touch with our sales team. We'll be happy to put together a custom set tailored exactly to your needs and training goals.
6. What's the difference between Hexagon and Hexagon PRO dumbbells?
The Hexagon dumbbells have a PVC coating.
The Hexagon PRO dumbbells, on the other hand, are made using a premium CPU (cast polyurethane) process, which makes them far more durable, longer-lasting and better finished. That makes the Hexagon PRO the top tier of our hex dumbbell range.
