Still have questions?
1. What is the main advantage of the EZ bar's curved shape?
The main advantage of the EZ curve is a lower risk of injury to your elbows and shoulders. The ergonomic bends put your arms and wrists in a more natural, joint-friendly position.
2. What sets the ATLETICA EZ Bar apart?
The ATLETICA EZ Bar weighs exactly 10 kg, which makes calculating your load easier and sets it apart from most other EZ bars on the market, which usually weigh 9.5 kg. Combined with our Preacher Curl Bench, it gives you the ideal resistance profile for effective biceps training.
3. How does the EZ bar help reduce injuries?
The curve of the bar lets you keep an ergonomic arm position during curls and other exercises. That reduces the stress on joints like your elbows and wrists, which is a real advantage in high-rep sets and intense training. Everyone from strength athletes to beginners to rehab facilities relies on this shape.
4. What is the grip on the EZ bar like, and does it hold securely?
Yes, the EZ bar gives you a secure grip even in sweat-heavy workouts. Medium knurling covers a large part of the bar, and combined with the 28 mm shaft diameter this delivers a firm, non-slip hold even when your hands get sweaty.
5. Which weight plates fit the EZ bar, and how long are the sleeves?
The sleeves are 190 mm long, which gives you plenty of room for your weight plates. So you can use your existing Olympic weight plates without any problem.
6. What is the EZ bar made of, and is it durable?
The EZ bar is made of steel for strength and longevity, and finished in hard chrome for a long service life and a great look. The chrome finish means the bar fits perfectly into any gym.
