1. What are the ATLETICA 2H Gripper PRO weight plates?

The ATLETICA 2H Gripper PRO are 50 mm weight plates with a high-quality, shock-absorbing CPU coating that is not only exceptionally durable but also odorless.

With a weight tolerance of under 1%, they're among the most precise plates you can train with. Their extra-slim design lets you load more plates onto the barbell without sacrificing stability or handling.

Available in pairs or in various sets – perfectly matched to your training.

2. What are the plates made of?

The plates have a CNC-machined steel core (unlike conventional cast iron) and are coated in cast polyurethane (CPU). CPU is the highest grade of PU and makes the plates exceptionally tough.

3. What's the difference between CPU and TPU?

CPU (cast polyurethane) is even harder and more resistant than TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). That means better resistance to impacts, wear, and deformation.
