Got questions?
1. What types of dumbbells are there?
Our range includes different types of dumbbells for different training needs:
Fixed dumbbells: Hexagon, polyurethane and PRO round dumbbells
Adjustable dumbbells: Quad (20 kg or 36 kg) and the L1 Olympia, a dumbbell with 50 mm sleeves for use with weight plates.

2. What are the differences between the fixed dumbbells?
Hexagon dumbbells: Six-sided heads with a PVC coating. They won't roll away, protect your floor and make your training area safer.
Polyurethane round dumbbells: Steel core with a premium PU coating. Odorless, scratch-resistant and durable — ideal for regular use at home or in the gym.
PRO round dumbbells: Also built around a steel core, but made using the more elaborate CPU process. That makes them especially resilient and extremely durable, with a premium finish. They're designed above all for professional, high-volume gym use.
Hexagon PRO: Also made using the CPU process, making them the top tier among hex dumbbells. They combine maximum durability with premium build quality and are ideal for long-term use in professional training environments.

3. What are adjustable dumbbells?
Adjustable dumbbells let you set the weight yourself by adding or removing plates on a handle. They're cheaper and more space-saving than a full set of fixed dumbbells. The plates are secured with spin-lock collars or barbell collars.
4. Which dumbbell weights do I need as a beginner?
That depends a lot on your strength level. For isolation exercises like biceps curls or lateral raises, 2.5 to 10 kg is usually enough. For compound movements like lunges or bench presses, 10 to 25 kg is a sensible starting point. With a set from 2.5 to 25 kg, most beginners are very well equipped and can train with plenty of variety.
5. Are adjustable dumbbells suitable for beginners?
Yes, adjustable dumbbells are a great option for beginners. They give you lots of weight options in a single set, so you don't have to buy several fixed dumbbells in different weights right away. The L1 Olympia set or the Quad 20 kg version are excellent choices to start with.
6. What's the best way to store fixed dumbbells?
We offer several racks for safe, space-saving dumbbell storage. The Hellhound is a three-tier rack with three flat shelves — ideal for hex dumbbells. For round dumbbells, there are special racks with cradles that stop them rolling around, available for 10 or 20 dumbbells. You can also add dumbbell shelves to our R8 systems so your dumbbells are stored right in the rack.
7. What's the best way to store adjustable dumbbells?
For our Quad adjustable dumbbells, we offer a rolling storage stand. It keeps them stored safely and compactly, makes handling easier during your workout and keeps your dumbbells within easy reach at all times.
8. Are dumbbells enough for effective training?
Dumbbells are essential for upper-body training: they allow free movement, help correct imbalances and target both large and small muscles. Combined with a weight bench like the B6 Decline, you can perform exercises like bench presses, shoulder presses and rows perfectly. Once you reach a certain training level, a barbell is worth adding, since it lets you load heavier weights for compound lifts like squats and deadlifts.
9. How do I care for my dumbbells?
Wipe them down regularly: After your workout, wipe off sweat and dirt with a damp cloth to prevent rust and odors.
Check the collars: On adjustable dumbbells, check regularly that the collars are tight.
Rubber-coated dumbbells: May give off a rubber smell at first. Airing them out during the first few weeks helps.

10. What's the difference between round and hexagon dumbbells?
Hexagon dumbbells have a six-sided shape, so they don't roll away — a real plus on uneven floors. They're also great for exercises like dumbbell push-ups.
Round dumbbells are more compact and slimmer overall, which is especially nice at heavier weights since they take up less room and are easier to handle. Their ability to roll is an advantage in certain situations, like one-arm dumbbell rows: you simply roll the dumbbell under a bench like the B4 to switch arms.

11. What are the advantages of kettlebells compared to dumbbells?
Thanks to their unique shape, kettlebells offer key advantages over dumbbells. The offset handle shifts the center of gravity, which makes them ideal for functional movements, swings and full-body training. That builds not just strength but also coordination, stability and explosiveness.
