The harder and faster you pull, the faster the fan spins and the higher the resistance gets. You can also adjust the resistance profile with a mechanical lever that regulates airflow to the fan.

2. Is the rower suitable for beginners?

Yes, the rower is a great choice for beginners. The stroke is relatively easy to learn, and with around 60% of the power coming from your legs, the movement is intuitive. It gives you an effective full-body workout that builds strength endurance and can help prevent back problems.

3. What training data does the monitor show?

The performance monitor lays out all the key numbers clearly: time, distance, calories burned, heart rate (with an optional chest strap), strokes per minute, total strokes and power output in watts. It also shows your split time per 500 m so you can track your progress precisely.

4. How do I connect the rower to my smartphone or tablet?

The CarbonRow has Bluetooth connectivity. You can mirror your training data to your smart device in real time and add variety to your workouts with a range of apps. An integrated holder keeps your device securely in place and always in view.

5. How do I store the rower when I’m not using it?

The CarbonRow splits into two parts. Thanks to the built-in transport wheels, it can be stored quickly and compactly, which makes it ideal for home use.

6. Does the machine need much maintenance?

No. All mechanical parts, such as the ergonomically shaped rolling seat on the aluminum rail and the handle with steel chain, are wear-resistant and low-maintenance. The magnetic brake system is maintenance-free too.
